If you are looking for a good series of attractive young readers, to give a series of Percy Jackson, Rick Riordan books a try. Here are 5 reasons why this series of books and children and parents welcome.
1. Attracting and holding Read for teens and parents
First of all, Percy Jackson books lessons not only for teenagers but for adults. I am in my mid-thirties and the series was me hooked so I had to read one after another, until the checkered flag with the last Olympian. The last two were especially difficult to put down as the series has come closer to a definitive conclusion.
2. Wonderful Teen role models
Perseus and his friends are great role models for adventurous teenagers, who are a bit rebellious but retain a sense of ethics and responsibility. They protect each other and have their views of the larger goal as the preservation of the world!

Percy is a single parent of his single mother (his father God, Poseidon), and she believes in Percy to do what he feels is correct. Percy contact her when faced with the task, and she gives advice, but he hopes he knows what to do. This mother-son relationship is a positive contribution to the popular teen literature.
